Abstract

The support is made from plastics and comprises a ring of rectangular cross section and hollow inside. The upper and lower surfaces are flat and the bore of the ring is large enough to suit a range of flower pot sizes. The upper edge of the bore has a semi-rigid thin flat section projecting inwards, its length being slit to form a number of individual lips. When the base of the flower pot is pushed into the bore, these lips deform and grip the pot in order to provide stability.
