Abstract

The radioactive materials pass with the aid of a suction device (7) into a collecting tank (16) which is located inside a shielded drum arrangement (18) which can be transported and/or stored. So that the suction device remains free from contamination, a filter (3) which is connected via a suction line (5) to the suction device is arranged on the underside (1) of the container cover (2). Said filter cleans the radioactive dust from the air current introduced via the suction line (8) into the collecting tank (16). A plurality of collecting tanks having different filters (3; 4) in separate drum arrangements (18; 19) which are connected in series in terms of flow can be provided for the purpose of enhancing the cleaning effect.
