Abstract

The plough comprises a main frame with a rear arm, positioned axially and longitudinally. This arm carries a subframe made from a central beam and parallel side pieces and holding several ploughshare, coulters and mould board units. The subframe pivots centrally on the rear arm of the main frame and spring loading is provided on each side. When the sub frame turns about the central pivot, one set of springs is compressed and the other is extended. This causes the coulters and boards assembly to be respectively raised and lowered.
