Abstract

The framework consists of tubular supports, and hollow spheres which can be used in any combination. The tubes (6) have end blanks (7) welded in, and these are drilled and threaded (8). Bolts (4) with spherical washers (11) are used to attach the tubes to a hollow sphere (1) at junctions. Clearance holes (2) are drilled around the sphere to take the bolts, and an access hole (12) is provided for inserting them. When the desired position is reached, the bolts, tubes, and sphere are locked using locknuts (9, 10). Various diameters of tubular support are used.
