Abstract

The multiple lamp holder includes bayonet couplings, which can be used on the headlamps of a motor vehicle. It is made from a stamping with a U-shaped cross-section. the limbs are widened in certain places to form half shells. The slits for the bayonet couplings are made in these sections of the stamping. The half shells (28, 30, 32) are cylindrical, with gaps in the base (16) fro a pair of prongs (24', 26'). the cylinders formed by the half shells are standardised to fit the conventional motor vehicle light bulbs.
