Abstract
A high-voltage transformer-rectifier comprises a three-phase step-up transformer with a three-dimensional magnetic circuit consisting of three vertical columns (7), each of them consisting of a series of isolated one from another closed cores (9), mounted, each of them, in an insulating frame (8) having a common opening and carrying sections (10) of a secondary winding (2). The primary winding (1) consists of three rectangular disk coils (11), their vertical parts being placed, in pairs, along the axis of the common opening of each column (7) of cores (9). A bridge network consists of separate rectifying bridges, connected to the sections (10) of the secondary winding (2), whereas each of the electrical screens consists of annular sections (6) and (20) placed one above the other along the columns (7) of cores (9). There are also earthed screens (12) consisting of cylinders cut along their generating lines and embracing the vertical parts of the coils (11) of the primary winding (1), which are placed, in pairs, in the said cylinders.
