Abstract

The screw for an anti-theft device, can be made irremovable. The screw (1) has a round head (3) with hexagonal recess (4). The screw (1) is fitted into a counterbored hole so that the head (3) is flush with the surface. A hexagonal plug (5) which is a force fit in the recess (4) is driven into it with a hammer so that the plug (5) is flush with the surface of the head (3). The principle can be applied to screws with slotted heads by driving a matching piece of metal into the screw-driver slot.
