Abstract
Métallurgie. Procédé pour la réduction directe de l'oxyde de fer dans un four à l'aide de gaz réducteurs chauds, avec formation de fer métallique et de gaz réducteurs usés contenant du CO2 . On gazéifie un combustible fossile, ce qui donne des gaz de gazéification chauds dont on abaisse la température de ces gaz par mélange avec un premier courant des gaz riches en réactifs réducteurs. Le mélange est désulfuré à chaux Un second courant de gaz de riches en réactifs réducteurs est chauffé et mélangé avec les gaz désulfurés chauds en formant ainsi des gaz réducteurs désulfurés. Production de fer métallique à partir d'oxyde de fer.
