Abstract

The wedge cradle for liquefied propulsion gas, such as liquid petroleum gas (LPG), bottles fits into car boots. It comprises wooden notched profiled elements which are collapsible for easy storage. A longitudinal member (1) has a square or finger stop (1c) to match the base of the bottle and an oblique stop (1b) to match the bottle neck. Horizontal elements (2) have oblique stops (2b) shaped to take the walls of the bottle. The joints between the two elements (1, 2) are of the half cut type, each notched to mid depth, so that the cradle comes to pieces for easy storage.
