Abstract

The system is designed to continuously modify in a progressive way the lighting of an image projected by a projector for a large dimension scene. The optical projector incorporates a multilens objective and a metal-halogen lamp giving white the light. The projector has also a light fading element which is placed in the luminous beam. The system is placed at a point C inside the zone enveloped by the objective lenses (1a, 1b, 1c). The system is composed of mechanical elements which abruptly cut the light trays. The elements are designed to be displaced in a ring from the periphery towards the interior and vice versa.
