Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé pour la séparation d'un mélange gazeux sous pression contenant, à côté de méthane et de gaz minéraux tels que H2 et N2 , des hydrocarbures plus élevés, de l'hydrogène sulfuré et du gaz carbonique. Elle est caractérisée en ce que le mélange gazeux est partiellement liquéfié par refroidissement et ensuite rectifié, de sorte que les hydrocarbures supérieurs, une partie de l'hydrogène sulfuré et, éventuellement, une partie du gaz carbonique, se rassemblent dans les produits de cuve de la rectification à partir desquels on peut les séparer, tandis que le gaz carbonique et, éventuellement, les restes d'hydrogène sulfuré et d'hydrocarbures lourds, sont éliminés par le lavage des produits de tête. On obtient ainsi un gaz substantiellement débarrassé de ces substances.The present invention relates to a process for the separation of a gaseous mixture under pressure containing, alongside methane and mineral gases such as H2 and N2, higher hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. A gas is thus obtained which is substantially free of these substances.
