Abstract

The trailer has a low chassis mounted on four wheels and picks up the bales from the ground. The first bale passes upwards onto a lateral belt conveyor and remains until a second bale is picked up. A switch is activated and both bales, lying flat, enter a four level storage conveyor. The drive into and around this conveyor comprises a chain each side with bars linking them together at intervals. On entering the conveyor and operating another switch, the conveyor stops until a further two bales repeat the cycle.
