Abstract

The treatment process is for part of the combustion ingredients in a liquid fuel system. Before mixing with the combustion agents, the fuel is passed through a chamber containing two or more electrodes. One of these is connected to an electric supply, and the other is earthed. The electric supply can be direct or pulsating current, and oxygen or ozone can be used to enrich the combustion agent. Where used in conjuction with an internal -combustion engine, the chamber can be mounted before the carburettor.
