Abstract

L'invention concerne l'obtention d'un revêtement réfractaire d'oxyde de magnésium sur un objet vitreux ou de verrerie. Une solution aqueuse d'un composé hydrosoluble de Mg est projetée par pulverisation à la surface très chaude de l'objet vitreux. L'eau s'évapore; le composé de Mg se pyrolyse et forme un revêtement transparent d'oxyde de magnésium, pouvant ultérieurement être surmonté d'un revêtement lubrifiant. Application: protection d'objets, comme des bouteilles, contre les conséquences des frottements entre ces objets, sur leurs emballages, etc.
