Abstract

The embossing machine has two horizontal parallel rollers driven by a motor through bevel gears. The vertical bevel is mounted on a spline on the shaft so that the roller can move vertically while the upper cylinder remains at a fixed level. The motor is pref. coupled to the input of the reduction gearbox by a telescopic shaft, this having a cardan joint at each end. The motor is pref mounted at the lower end of the transmission shaft, the axis of the motor output shaft being orthogonal w.r.t. axes of the cylinders.
