Abstract

Le manchon de protection est destiné à un train de tiges de sondage en vue de la formation de forages profonds dans le sol pour l'extraction de pétrole, de gaz naturel ou autres. Le manchon peut être monté dans la zone de raccordement des différentes tiges du train de sondage et est formé d'une partie interne élastique semblable à une bague partielle et d'une enveloppe protectrice entourant cette partie interne et constituée d'une matière souple et/ou élastique ; il se caractérise en particulier en ce qu'il se compose de deux semi-coquilles 1 reliées l'une à l'autre à la manière d'une charnière en une bague fermée et dotées de griffes de serrage internes 2 et de segments élastiques externes 3. Manchon à fixation rapide, sûre et durable.
