Abstract

L'invention concerne un projectile perforant sous-calibré. Ce projectile est lancé à partir d'un tube de lancement de plus grand diamètre que le noyau perforant. Un sabot calibré est prévu pour le lancement. Le sabot 2 et le noyau perforant 1 sont solidarisés au départ par des goupilles 8 en matériau fusible. Ces goupilles sont contenues dans un canal 5 rempli d'une composition pyrotechnique, communiquant avec les gaz de composition de la charge propulsive du projectile. Après le départ du projectile, la composition pyrotechnique fait fondre les goupilles fusibles et désolidarise le sabot 2 du noyau perforant 1 qui continue seul sa course vers la cible. Application : obus perforant sous-calibré.
