Abstract
The device comprises (a) a tube pushing device, (b) a continuously driven moving link arrangement connected to the pushing device, and (c) a transmission device for transforming continuous motion of (b) into intermittent motion of (a). The transmission device has a sleeve slidable in the travelling direction of (a) which is driven by (b). The sleeve has two springs arranged coaxially with it, of different degrees of rigidity and >=1 being preloaded with each having one end connected to the sleeve to enable their successive compression due to the movement of the sleeve. The opposite ends of the springs are connected to (a). The device is simple, has a longer working life dur to the limited number of link members involved, has a faster max. operating rate and can be altered to give a wide range of operating rates.
