Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de vieux papiers contaminés en vue de leur valorisation et de réemploi dans la fabrication de produits papetiers, qui consiste après élimination des contaminants lourds à séparer les fibres constituant ces vieux papiers d'une part, les unes des autres, et d'autre part, des divers contaminants qu'ils peuvent contenir. Le procédé se caractérise par le fait qu'après élimination des contaminants lourds, on introduit les vieux papiers dans une enceinte où ils sont soumis à un traitement mécanique en milieu aqueux à haute concentration, provoquant simultanément la séparation des fibres les unes des autres et des contaminants, une fragmentation poussée desdits contaminants, une dispersion homogène des particules de contaminants ainsi formées dans la suspension fibreuse obtenue. Application : recyclage des vieux papiers.
