Abstract

La présente invention concerne un frein de ski. Suivant l'invention, le frein de ski comprend des branches de freinage 5 portant à leurs extrémités des ailettes de freinage 15, susceptibles de pivoter autour d'un axe 3 d'une position de freinage dans une position de repos. Chaque branche de freinage 5 porte un éperon de freinage 8 qui par sa première portion 8a est enfiché sur une branche 6a, 6b d'un étrier d'appui 6 constituant une partie de la pédale 11 de commande du frein de ski, le dit étrier 6 étant maintenu sur l'axe 3 du frein de ski au moyen de ladite portion 8a de l'éperon de freinage 8. Le frein de ski conforme à l'invention empêche la poursuite de la course d'un ski perdu par le skieur.
