Abstract
In industry non-destructive tests are performed on deformable structures submitted to strain. Tests are performed by observation by holographic interferometry. The object (1) to be tested is subjected to light beam (2) transmitted by optical cable (36) from a laser source (3) via a separator (16). Radiation is diffracted and light is received by a photoconductor (7) to which voltage is applied. Part of light from the source is focussed (35) onto an optical cable (37) carrying light to a mirror (200). A separator (21) permits formation of image at memory tube (15). A polariser (P) is orientated to isolate image from optical noise effects.
