Abstract

The exterior rear view mirror includes an assembly for straights ahead viewing. It has lower and upper mountings for varying direction. The lower mounting supports the normal mirror. The lower mounting also supports an adjustable frame in the form of a vertical shaft on which is placed the bearing supporting the movable mirror. This bearing has a rack to hold in the desired position. There is also a stop, locking and stabilisation.
