Pref. the pins have a frusto-conical configuration and their insertion is effected such taht their base of larger dia. points upwardly and the pins project above the plane of the panel. Projections may be cut using hot wires. The pins do not fall out when the panel is hung on a wall or suspended vertically from a ceiling.
