Abstract

The protective screen for a display panel includes a grill (4) of strong plastic material. Each of the horizontal edges of the grill is held by suspension points (5) mounted in a shaped frame (6, 7). The frame pieces are fixed to the upper and lower edges of the display panel inside a frame (3). The vertical edges of the grill are attached to posts (8, 9) one of which (8) is fixed while the other slides across the frame. Each suspension point is attached by a two wheeled pulley to the frame, in the same way that a curtain is suspended, enabling the screen to be pushed back to give access to the panel.
