Abstract

The acoustic enclosure for a loudspeaker includes a Helmholtz resonator combined with a secondary chamber(6) coupled to the main chamber(10) via an internal opening(4). A double opening or tunnel(8) links both the main and secondary chambers to the atmosphere. The secondary chamber(6) lies below the main chamber(10) with a horizontal division separating them. This division extends in order to form an internal wall(9) dividing the tunnel(8) into two parts(3, 7). The tunnel(8) has two parts, one of which extends into the enclosure, while the other protrudes from the front of the housing.
