Abstract

The tool comprises a matrix (2) associated with a group of cutter and punches and is used to effect the simultaneous cutting and drilling of the end of a lightweight metal section. Several tenons (3, 4) are received in he grooves of certain sections. The tenons serve to reinforce the section and preserve its shape during the cutting and punching process, and may be incorporated on the legs (1a, 1b) of a demountable fork shaped chock (1).
