Abstract

The oven is for cooking deep-frozen food, having a refrigerator unit separate from the heat source. A system is included to prevent hot air from passing through the evaporator of the refrigerator. The evaporator(10) can be mounted in a heat-insulated compartment(9) communicating with the oven via ports(11) shut during cooking or reheating. There can be two such ports, closed by sealing shutters(12) while the cold air is circulated by a fan(13) in the compartment.
