Abstract

The electronic video game circuit prevents permanent marking of the screen when a highly contrasted picture is held on the screen for a considerable time. The synchronisation signal generator of the circuit has a control terminal allowing variation of the recurrent frequency, connected to the output of a wobbulator circuit operating at very low frequency. The wobbulator circuit (7) comprises two operational amplifiers (8, 21) connected to square and triangular signal generators respectively. The variation over a period of several seconds causes a small slow displacement of the image on the screen, preventing the electron beam permanently damaging the particular points.
