Abstract

The system is designed to distribute one by one objects taken from a bulk supply. The system has a device for separating the objects and ensuring that there is a minimum space between them. The object spacing consists of a conveyor belts (3, 6, 7) and a guide (5) which passes the objects from one conveyor belt to the other. The conveyor belts (3, 6, 7) are arranged in a ladder formation to aid passage of the objects from one belt to the other. Each conveyor belt operates at a speed which is higher than the speed of the preceding belt.
