Abstract

The combination central heating radiator comprises a wall-mounted casing (1, 2), air flowing through a lower grille (5) and passing upwards by convection to emerge at the top (7). The air passes over a bank of tubes (8) containing hot water from (9, 9') a centralised system, convection being assited by one or two blower fan (10, 10'). If additional heating is required, a thermostat (13) can be set to control a bank of electrical heating elements (12) set over the water tubing. The thermostat has a time delay to ignore transient temperature variations is controlled by an external knob (24).
