Abstract

The apparatus is used for applying a thick coating of plastic material onto a wall surface. It comprises a pump (2) mounted on a plate (4) which rests on the surface of the material (5) in its container (6). A filter (7) is fitted and the material is pumped through a tube to a flat nozzle (12). This has an elongated slot (13) which causes the material to issue in the form of a sheet, this being picked up by a spreading roller (14). An on-off valve (10) is provided and the parts are assembled onto a convenient frame (8, 9).
