Abstract

The stone trap is for systems with flotation equipment, particularly for processing sugar-beet. Cups for the separated stones are provided on a vertical conveyor, running over guide wheels in a housing alongside the flotation current. The stones are delivered in the axial direction of the guide wheels (29, 30) from the side of the conveyor to the cups (25, 42), which extend in the axial direction. There can be a lateral opening in the housing near the bottom wheels, connected via a housing to the underside of the flotation current.
