Abstract

The machine for cleaning wall and floor surfaces combines the operations of vacuum cleaning, washing, rubbing down and scraping. The cleaning process consists of a spiral movement of fluid, and suction which recovers the cleaning fluid plus any foreign particles, and then drying. The machine can be used as a dry vacuum cleaner only. The cleaning head uses friction in various different geometric forms, such as cylinder, cone, circle, sphere and such like on the surface being cleaned. A number of brushes produce the rubbing motion. A single pump combines the functions of suction and ejection. The amounts of suction and ejection can be adjusted. The pump can be made to operate in the opposite direction for emptying.
