Abstract

A deep drawing machine for simultaneously producing >=1 row of containers from thermoplastic film, has a device for laying in a long strip in the separate moulds. The strip is drawn from >=1 reel, possibly slit lengthways, via guide rollers and channels is sequence and in similar lengths into the moulds. The laying in device is assembled on a carriage movable on rails across the path of the film. It is also displaceable lengthways from a working position on the moulds to one some distance away. The laying in device is very easily accessible so that in the case of any difficulty with the strip, it can be released. Similarly new strips can be threaded through from the side of the deep drawing machine frames without difficulty.
