Abstract

The toy which is of modular construction, its parts being interchangeable to provide a number of various related vehicles, such as bulldozer, earthmover, mechanical shovel, etc. It comprises a basic chassis (11), this having transversal slots (16, 26, 27, 28) on its undersurface. The slots are used to locate the axles (34, 39) of wheels (12, 13) and any pivots or locating spigots (52C) for accessories and fittings, such as shovels or bulldozer blades (14). hese axles, pivots or spigots are held in place by a locking plate (16) sliding (62) over a flange (46) on each lower side and representing the vehicle radiator (61).
