Abstract
The heat pump has two inlet ducts (6, 7) one end of the housing (1) through which air is drawn into a common chamber where it passes through a set of adjustable flaps (12). The flow is then divided to pass through two parallel ducts (2, 4) housing the evaporator (3) and condenser (5) respectively. The two flows are then blown by two fans (20, 21) through two funnel shaped ducts (28, 29) into two discharge ducts (26, 27) at right angles. In the funnel shaped region, the two flows are controlled by further flaps (28, 29) which turn about a common horizontal axis (30).
