Abstract

The equipment cuts off current-consuming units in a motor vehicle. IT comprises a time-lagged relay (1) which switches off the supply (10) to these unit after a period has elapsed following the driver leaving th vehicle and ceasing to press the control pedals. One or more of the pedals are connected to a switch (5, 6) actuating the relay. The relay can be arranged to open the circuit after a time lag, either on being energised, or de-energised. A switch (11) can be provided to cut the equipment out and supply the circuit permanently.
