Abstract

The apparatus is mounted on another machine, such as a mixer, and has a frame supporting two mounting rails. A cutter formed by a rotor with peripheral blades is movably mounted on the rails which are pivoted at their lower end to the frame. The rails can be locked in at least two positions, a vertical working position and a position of rest. The frame extends downwardly with a rigid plate to the ground and this acts as a scraper. A rearwardly inclined elevator is mounted behind and is fed by the cutter.
