Abstract

The storage silo (2) is mounted horizontally on a lorry (1). The silo carries a hydraulic support frame. The frame consists of a beam (9) fitting over trunions (8) fixed to the silo. Two side beams (11) support two extended feet (7) articulated through hydraulic jacks (21) and (24). The feet are raised horizontally for transport on the lorry. The silo may be moved to the vertical position by extending the cylinder (21).
