Abstract

The connecting brackets consist of a hollow cube fitted with screw holes on each face. The face of the cube is fitted with a slot (48). The tube (A, B, C) may be circular or square or be stepped and each tube end fits over a sleeve (52) with an end rib (55) to fit in the slot (48). The wedge (58) fits inside the sleeve (52). The wedge is pulled onto the connecting piece by means of the screw (61) having the head in the centre of the connector. The open side of the connector may be closed with a plug.
