Abstract
The process of packaging allows separate containers of forcemeat balls and sauce, in the fresh or frozen state, and under vacuum to be offered for sale. The meat balls and sauce are packaged under vacuum in separate containers which are connected together, alternate containers having meat balls and sauce. Containers of veal, chicken, pike or other food may be packaged in this way enabling the purchaser to prepare and heat them at her convenience and without requiring to make, or purchase separately, the sauce.
