Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition pour la préparation d'une mousse de résine phénol-formaldéhyde et procédé pour l'obtention de la mousse. La composition comprend A une résine phénolformaldéhyde (résol), un agent de gonflement (liquide inerte à bas point d'ébulition), un modificateur azoté assurant la dispersion de l'agent de gonflement dans la résine et un tensio-actif et B un catalyseur acide dispersé dans un composé polyhydroxylé liquide (selon un rapport pondéral d'au moins 1 :1 entre le composé polyhydroxylé et le catalyseur acide). Par mélange de A et B, on peut obtenir une mousse isolante, servant notamment dans la construction du bâtiments.
