Abstract

L'invention a trait à une structure de protection contre l'incendie. Elle propose un dispositif structural comportant au moins deux parois espacées l'une de l'autre et ayant au moins un trou de convection dans l'une des parois et au moins un trou de convection dans l'autre, le trou dans la première paroi n'étant pas aligné avec l'autre trou, et un matériau intumescent placé dans l'espace entre parois pour obstruer la circulation d'air entre les deux trous lorsque ce matériau est converti en un produit de carbonisation intumescent Application notamment à la protection des câbles électriques.
