Abstract

L'invention concerne un tube carottier pouvant être connecté à un train de tiges pour récupérer un échantillon carotté comprenant des solides et des fluides. Selon l'invention il comprend une première chambre 84 ayant une ouverture pour recevoir l'échantillon; un moyen 90, 91 pour sceller sélectivement l'ouverture de la chambre après réception d'un échantillon carotté; une seconde chambre dilatable et fermée 80 adjacente à la première pour recevoir les fluides de l'échantillon, l'extérieur de la seconde chambre quand il est disposé dans un sondage étant exposé aux conditions ambiantes de ce sondage; et un moyen 182, 184 pour connecter sélectivement les deux chambres et permettre aux fluides d'entrer dans la seconde; et un moyen pour actionner à distance le moyen de connexion. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'étude des couches souterraines.
