Abstract
L'invention se rapporte aux procédés et aux dispositifs pour l'exploration d'un sondage. Selon la présente invention, on mesure une nouvelle caractéristique géologique des formations souterraines, à savoir le degré d'homogénéité des couches souterraines traversées par le sondage ou l'inclinaison latérale de ces couches. Cette nouvelle caractéristique peut être une valeur ponctuelle ou moyenne. L'inclinaison latérale peut être avantageusement utilisée pour la détermination du pendage des couches et, à cette fin, plusieurs variantes sont decrites. L'invention concerne également une sonde de diagraphie comportant au moins deux patins. Chaque patin est muni de deux organes de mesure, avantageusement disposés dans un même plan horizontal. Application à la détermination de la géologie des formations souterraines et, plus particulièrement, à la prospection pétrolière.
