Abstract
The equipment aids the application of labels or thin sheet material to a supporting surface by covering with transparent adhesive tape. A common housing has a mounting for a roll (14) of adhesive tape, and a supporting surface (17) for a stack of labels (18). Between them is a cutter (29) for parting off the tape end (15). There can be raised edges round the label supporting surface to act as guides for them, these being adjustable to suit the label size. The cutter can have a knize mounted on a handle, working in a groove in the housing, into which it is retracted by a spring after each operation.
