Abstract

L'invention concerne un révélateur pour développer des images latentes électrostatiques obtenues notamment par électrographie ou électrophotographie. Le révélateur selon l'invention se présente sous forme d'une poudre fine, mais il contient néanmoins un liquide, tel que le glycérol ou l'éthylèneglycol, sous forme de gouttelettes. Le liquide contient un pigment ou un colorant et les gouttelettes sont entourées par des particules sèches divisées, d'une substance dont l'énergie superficielle est inférieure à la tension interfaciale existant entre les particules et les gouttelettes. On obtient ainsi un révélateur présentant les avantages combinés des révélateurs solides et des révélateurs liquides pour images électrostatiques.
