Abstract

Le joint comprend des pièces sphériques creuses intérieure et extérieure avec des canaux opposés disposés dans des plans parallèles aux axes géométriques des arbres, et des éléments de transmission qui sont disposes dans lesdits canaux de façon à transmettre les forces entre les pièces sphériques. La pièce sphérique extérieure 21 a une ouverture et un prolongement 23 pour recevoir un des arbres, les canaux respectifs 26 étant parallèles à l'axe de ce prolongement, la pièce sphérique intérieure 20 pouvant se loger concentriquement dans l'ouverture de la pièce extérieure et ayant un prolongement 22 pour recevoir l'autre arbre, ce prolongement traversant normalement l'ouverture de la pièce extérieure, les canaux respectifs 25 étant parallèles à ce prolongement, et un ensemble de transmission 24 traverse les canaux alignés respectifs 25, 26 pour transmettre périphériquement les forces entre les parois qui délimitent ces canaux. Transmission du couple aux extrémités de l'arbre de transmission d'une automobile.
