Abstract

Paper is applied to celings by means of an apparatus attached to a step-ladder. A square section tube (1) which forms a guide for a sliding bar (2) is fixed by a clamp (4) to a bar (3) which is attached to the step-ladder by clamps (6). A roller of plastics foam is mounted on a shaft extending from the sliding bar (2). A receptacle (8) on the step-ladder contains the roll of paper. The roller (7) is raised to within one centimetre of the ceiling by the cord (9). One end of the roll of paper is passed over the roller and attached to the ceiling. The whole apparatus is then pushed along the floor and at the same time presses the paper agains the ceiling.
