Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie des matériaux ignifuges. Matières composites ignifuges, flexibles, expansibles à chaud constituées d'un composant intrumescent sous une forme granulaire, d'un liant organique, d'un composant organique formant un produit de carbonisation et de charges, lesdites matières, lorsqu'on les chauffe à environ 110 degrés C, présentent une expansion par intrumescence atteignant jusqu'a dix fois leur volume d'origine. Application aux revêtements d'isolation thermique.
